Alter Trading LLC sources from manufacturers in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea and the United States for importers and distributors across Latin America.
We contract in our own name on both sides of every transaction: we purchase under invoices issued to us, and we resell under our own commercial invoice. Our compensation is the margin negotiated on each operation.
Goods ship directly from the manufacturer to the buyer — a structure known as merchanting, or cross-trade — so the cargo takes the shortest route available and is handled once.

Cargo is booked at origin and moves straight from the manufacturer to the port of destination. When you buy from more than one supplier, we consolidate the orders into the same container instead of paying for several part-loads.

Quality Inspection

Arrival & Clearance
Documents go to the importer, who clears the cargo in the destination country. We stay available through delivery.

We source in East Asia and in the United States, and deliver to ports across Latin America. Florida is where the company is organized; the Brazilian offices sit close to the ports we ship into.
